We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Farm Manager to take the lead on a 600ha arable farm in West Cambridgeshire. This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of an arable enterprise and help shape the direction of the farm for the long term. This role involves all elements of crop production, giving a mix of machinery operation and general farm management.

What we're looking for

  • Solid, practical arable farming experience

  • Strong agronomic knowledge across arable production

  • Confident leading a team in busy periods, maintaining machinery, overseeing contractors, budgets

  • A self-starter who's happy working independently and able to make decisions, but will also continue to build a strong team culture and keep team spirits high

  • Someone who is happy with the office side of farm management, record keeping, compliance etc

  • Curious and open to new ideas - no need for a background in regenerative or min-till farming, just a willingness to learn and get stuck in

  • FACTS/BASIS qualified is a bonus, not essential - training available for the right person

What's on offer

  • Excellent salary package, reflecting the experience and value you bring

  • Recently renovated accommodation available if required

  • Use of a company vehicle for work purposes

  • Pension, life assurance and private medical cover

  • 24 days holiday, plus bank holidays

  • An open-minded attitude towards funding training and CPD

  • Real scope to shape the role and influence how the farm develops
